The Legend of Wutai in the Realm of Buddhism
Recently, the large-scale cultural tourism live-action fantasy drama “The Legend of Wutai” had its grand premiere at the Wutai Mountain Fanjingli Cultural Tourism Town in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province. CKC Lighting illuminated the ancient temples nestled among the peaks with dazzling lights, treating the audience to a grand and soul-stirring audio-visual feast!
“The Legend of Wutai” is set against the backdrop of Wutai Mountain, the sacred site of Manjushri Bodhisattva. Blending mythology, martial arts, and Zen philosophy, the production cost 200 million yuan and features 150 actors. With its dreamlike stage design and dramatic plot, the show captures the essence of Wutai culture, immersing audiences in a flowing temporal corridor and leaving them exclaiming, “Truly breathtaking!” “It feels like stepping back through a thousand years of legend!”
Modern sound, light, water, and electricity technology breathe new life into this timeless tale of fantasy and magic: Breathtaking lighting and shadow effects showcase the essence of Eastern aesthetics, while LED giant mesh screens display ultra-clear, lifelike visuals. A multi-dimensional moving stage on the water creates a dynamic, ethereal ambiance, and 1:1-scale props recreate authentic scenes. Four 26-meter-high aerial wires deliver stunning combat sequences, all to provide audiences with a truly immersive, panoramic viewing experience.
Guided by starlight and accompanied by light and shadow, the majestic mountains stretch out endlessly, forming the spectacular natural backdrop for “The Legend of Wutai.” Enhanced by cutting-edge real-life technology such as 3D holographic projection, the epic battle between immortals and demons is about to unfold!
Light and shadow intertwine to create a magical dream of immortals and demons. The lights are silent, yet their dreamlike effects draw the audience into a fairyland. The stage of “The Legend of Wutai” becomes a meeting point between the immortal realm and the human world, blurring the boundaries between reality and legend.
The ancient temple's soaring eaves and majestic halls blend seamlessly with light and shadow. The VH5 IP (waterproof three-in-one moving head 420) beam, pattern, and color-changing functions greatly enhance the visual depth of the stage. A sharp beam of 542,600 lux at 10 meters, seamlessly complemented by the ZB19X IP (waterproof moving head color-changing 1960) with its ultra-wide zoom range of 4-60° for color-changing effects, and 21,000 lm of high-saturation color mixing rendering, create a magical Five-Peak Paradise within the interplay of light and shadow.
The compassionate Jinlian Fairy and the wise and courageous Jixiang Zhiwo unfold a series of thrilling scenes before the audience. The V10 IP (waterproof, rotating, cutting 1000) accurately reproduces the skin tones and clothing colors of over a hundred actors, perfectly showcasing the unique charm of various characters and the dramatic tension of the plot.
On stage, the L Par 18 (waterproof color-changing par light 1820) and IP PixBar 2405 (waterproof full-color strip light 2405) deliver rich color-mixing effects, infusing the stage's artificial mountains and other landscapes with a unique vitality. Both models can be equipped with multi-angle optical lenses, allowing for flexible switching based on different requirements to achieve the optimal presentation effect.
