The world's attention is focused on the “Tianfu Eaves” of the Chengdu Tianfu International Convention Center, where cultural performances such as “Colorful Appointment” and “Voice of Friendship” are staged one after another. Elements of Sichuan culture, such as Shu brocade, the Sun Bird, pandas, and golden monkeys, are integrated with Chinese culture and sports events, conveying the theme of the conference, “Endless Sports, Endless Possibilities,” to the world.

The 300-meter-high “Tree of Friendship” grows by the lake, inspired by the large tree roots at the Jinsha Site and the Davidia involucrata tree. Its branches are covered with dove flowers, symbolizing peace. Ancient Shu culture and Chinese romanticism intertwine and blend together, allowing visitors to experience the charm of Chinese culture that spans three thousand years.

At the opening ceremony, the first torch in the history of the World Games was lit in a stunning display. Motorboats cut through the waves as the World Games torch made its way to the lake-center torch platform. Water jets erupted from the lake, resembling a white dragon emerging from the water under the glow of the lights. Above the water dragon, the sacred flame blazed fiercely—water and fire intertwined and harmonized.
