New Pants 30th Anniversary Tour
Thirty years after starting out in a modest rehearsal room back in 1996, Chinese rock band New Pants launched the first stop of its 30th anniversary tour Beihai Monster: When the Tide Rises at Beijing Huaxi Biology Runbaiyan Arena on March 21, 2026. Blending retro romance and futuristic sharp aesthetics, the band gathered all dreamers ahead of a new cultural tide.

Marking this milestone anniversary, New Pants embarked on a brand-new musical journey with an unprecedented stage setup. For the first time, the band adopted a four-sided in-the-round stage to deliver an open, panoramic performance experience. The pillar-free circular venue featured dual rotating and lifting annular platforms and a massive flying saucer installation, transforming the entire arena into a colossal mechanical spaceship traveling across deep space.Rhythmic melodies paired with dynamic lighting distorted time and reconstructed spatial perception. Through their music, New Pants led the audience into a surreal universe filled with retro neon glows and futuristic radio waves.

CKC powered this interstellar live show with tailored lighting solutions. Two flagship fixtures, the Proxima Hybrid and AK M Blast, supported the milestone tour, extending the band’s 30-year musical journey through immersive light dynamics.

Delivering a high brightness output of 23,000 lumens, the Proxima Hybrid emits ultra-sharp 0.9° narrow beams that cut straight across the stage. Its concentrated beam texture visually stretches the stage space, creating a high-speed interstellar flight effect with striking futuristic impact. Equipped with an integrated CMY color mixing system, the fixture produces saturated, natural hues to enrich layered spatial visuals for interstellar scene switching.

AK M Blast were arranged around the four-sided stage to outline crisp spatial boundaries, forming a flowing luminous band surrounding the spaceship-shaped stage. Featuring 360° limitless Z-axis rotation and explosive 1600W strobe and color washing output, the fixtures mimic surging energy pulses from spaceship engines. Continuous synchronized strobing strengthened musical rhythm, while optimizing spatial hierarchy and stage edge definition.

The spaceship sets sail again, toward a new destination. See you at the next stop.
